Davao City is listed as one of the most livable cities in the world that is why many foreigners are coming here to have their vacation in my wonderful hometown.Get ready as we start exploring the different exciting places of the city.

Our first stop is here at the Bangkerohan Public Market the largest public market of the city.Here we can find all our food stuffs that we are going to bring with us in our trip. We can buy lots of fruits here like the famous Golden Pomelo that is known worldwide for its sweetness, the bananas that are rich in calcium which are exported in many countries, the king of fruits Durian is also available here, the world reknowed fruit called mangosteen because it has a medicinal component that can cure almost 300 disesases and many other delicious fruits. We can also buy here our native delicacies like the rice cakes, durian candies, durian cakes, and other pastries and cakes.Roasted native chicken and pigs are also best sellers here and we are really blessed by nature that we can grow plants anywhere, raise poultry,livestock and fishes anytime since we have good climate thoughout the year.

Next we will visit Davao Crocodile Park where we can see the second largest salt water crocodile in the country named Pangil and enjoy the crocodile feeding show and the fire dancing show for a minimum of Php200/pax entrance fee. If you are fond of wakebording you can also visit the Deca Wakeboard Park in Mintal, Davao City. Since I am a nature lover I’d love to visit the Malagos Garden Resort in Calinan, Davao City where you will be amazed to see the different orchid and plant species especially the famous Philippine national flower the Vanda Sanderiaana or locally known as Waling-waling. Near to Malagos Garden Resort is the Philippine Eagle Foundation home of the famous Philippine national bird, the Philippine Eagle.Surely you will never get tired of roaming around the place not only for the refreshing views you can see but for the educational knowledge you can get.

Going back to the city proper, we can also enjoy at the Davao Outland Adventure Park where you can experience 200 meter Zipline, Rock climbing and the rapelling. You can also visit,pray,meditate and relax at the Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague at the Shrine Hills near the Davao Outland Adventure Park. During night time in Davao City, the restaurant named Jack’s Ridge Resort also in Shrine hills is best recommended where it offers not only good food but good ambiance since you can catch the entire view Davao City at night. After dining at Jack’s Ridge and you want to have a night swimming you can go to Mergrande Beach Resort a 30-minute taxi ride from downtown Davao and enjoy it’s calm,safe waters and nice reception.
